Front Desk Supervisor

Are you driven and ready to make a difference where you work and be appreciated for it!!! We are looking for a person who has lead teams to success.  This job requires customers skills and preferred Hotel experience, but for the right person with the right attitude, this job is yours. 

Basic duties include:

  • evaluates staff performance and coaches to ensure standards are met
  • supervise a team of 5-8 employees on a daily basis
  • motivates staff by setting goals, providing ongoing feedback, and rewarding/recognizing employees
  • ensures all training for department employees is completed and training records are maintained
  • must have high attention to detail, good communications skills, and a high degree of creativity to facilitate efficient problem solving
  • must be able to manage multiple priorities and work in an environment with frequent interruptions and tight deadlines

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience accurate cash handling and credit cards
  • Experience in maintaining the security of confidential information, including guest registration and credit card information
  • Ability to pass certification tests required to meet brand standards
  • Experience working with a computer, including data entry
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Customer Focus, including experience in anticipating guest needs and responding pleasantly and professionally in a variety of settings and situations
  • Listening skills to ensure an accurate understanding of guest wishes
  • Composure to work effectively under pressure and to address and resolve guest problems or concerns
  • Approachability to encourage effective communication with guests and fellow team members
  • Prior experience in Hotel front desk positions required, supervisory experience preferred.
