What is an Event Setup Team exactly? This is our team of individuals who love the behind the scenes work of an event. This team is responsible for loading up the necessary event items, transporting them to the event site, setting them up and in some cases returning to break them down and finally returning all items to their proper storage space in our warehouse. The event items include ovens, large electric heat boxes for food storage, tables and chairs, lounge furniture, and other large decor items. This role also includes asset cleaning and maintenance to ensure all events are suitable for usage. This is a very physical and labor intensive position. It requires the ability to lift at least 50lbs and the ability to be on your feet for 6-8 hour shifts. It also requires the need for a valid driver's license and ability to drive transit vans and box trucks (non CDL). Our setup team will work a non-traditional schedule which will include nights, weekends, and holidays depending on our event schedule. JDK offers a competitive wage depending on experience and performance. This is a part time position but can offer up to 30+ hours some weeks.
