Payroll Administrator

We're excited about the innovation required to aid in the production of the crops farmers grow to feed the world, and we currently have an open opportunity for you as a Payroll Administrator. This is a one year term with the opportunity to become permanent in a role where you will manage the payroll process for all employees and support various HR functions.

In This Role You Will:

• Prepare, verify, and process payroll related payments for all employees

• Review timesheet approvals and adjust with supervisors as required.

• Prepare payroll related filings and supporting documentations, such as year-end tax statements, pension, and Records of Employment 

• Maintain and update employee information

• Administer benefits including pension plan and group benefits

• Support employees with payroll and benefit inquiries

• Provide an exceptional employee experience as you onboard new employees.

• Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies

• Assist with the development and implementation of payroll policies, procedures, or processes

We’re looking for:

• Working towards or completed a certificate/degree in Payroll is preferred, although a combination of experience and education will be considered.

• Experience working in a Payroll functions.

• Knowledge of employment regulations and compliance.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Professionalism and a team-oriented, collaborative attitude.

• The ability to thrive in change and a passion for continuous improvement.

• Digital technology skills with MS Office, payroll software and/or HRIS.

• Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communication skills.

• CPHR, CPHR Candidate, PCP, or CPM designations are considered an asset.
