House Manager
Our mission is to offer a comprehensive, goal-directed model of active treatment to a wide variety of vulnerable adults with physical, mental, and emotional needs. We offer a safe, comfortable home setting from which we support our members in their efforts to maintain a high quality of life. We provide our members with care, supervision, and assistance throughout their daily lives.
The House Manager works directly with the members and is also responsible for maintaining the overall operations of the residence which includes: member management tasks, house management responsibilities and administrative duties.
Duties/Responsibilities: The House Manager works directly with the members but is also responsible for maintaining the overall operations of the residence which includes, but is not limited to:
Member Management:
· Ensure the safety and well-being of the members at all times
· Understand the needs, goals, and programs of each member; assist them in reaching these goals
· Administer and order medications
· Maintain and track member finances
· Arrange appointments and referrals
· Follow up with medical professional recommendations with CCI and guardians
· Transport members
House Management Duties:
· Ensure the house is always meeting licensing requirements
· Meet licensing requirements of DHS
· Complete weekly menus for the homes and weekly grocery shopping
· Stock home supplies
· Site finances/budgeting
· Staff management
· Coach and hands on train new staff members and current staff
· Lead monthly staff meetings
· Conduct staff reviews
Administrative:
· Develop/maintain communication with case managers, social workers, families, guardians, doctors, supervisors, and direct staff
· Maintain confidentiality and follow all HIPAA guidelines
· Documentation/Filing

Education and Experience:
· Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.
· CBRF or CNA license preferred
· Previous leadership experience preferred
Work Environment:
· Works throughout the residential home
· Work is generally performed indoors in an environmentally controlled building
· Subject to frequent interruptions
· Potential for exposure to infectious organisms, blood and other body fluids, other hazardous waste materials, dust, unpleasant odors, loud and unpleasant noises, and bodily injury
· Involved with residents, personnel, visitors, other staff members
· Subject to emotionally upset residents, family members, personnel, and visitors at times
· Gloves along with other PPE devices (gowns, masks/eye protection) may be used and are available should the need arise
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing/walking
- Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Frequently kneels, bends, squats, climbs, and reaches
- Must be able to move frequently throughout the workday
- Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability
- Must be able to assist with the evacuation of residents in the event of an emergency
- Must be able to assist with the evacuation of residents in the event of an emergency
