About the Role
As a Maintenance Attendant (Painter) at Pacific Sands, you’ll help keep our resort looking its best—inside and out. From fresh coats of paint to small repairs, your work plays a big part in creating a welcoming and well-cared-for environment for our guests and staff. You’ll join a dedicated Property Operations team that takes pride in maintaining our beautiful oceanfront property and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver friendly, 5-star service when interacting with guests and staff
- Prepare, paint, stain, and finish surfaces to keep facilities in top shape
- Mix and match paints to ensure seamless finishes
- Complete routine inspections and touch-ups in guest rooms, public spaces, and exterior areas
- Assist with light maintenance (drywall patching, tile replacement, hardware adjustments, caulking, etc.)
- Respond to service requests quickly and professionally
- Maintain safe storage of paints, tools, and equipment
- Work with Guest Services and Housekeeping to minimize disruptions during projects
- Take part in the resort’s on-call program as needed
- Support other property operations tasks and special projects as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a painter; hospitality or resort experience is an asset
- Knowledge of painting techniques, surface prep, and safety practices
- Basic skills in general maintenance (plumbing, carpentry, or electrical are a plus)
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license required
- Physically fit and able to lift moderate weight, climb stairs, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods
