Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations at a skilled nursing facility in Jersey City. This is a high-impact leadership role for a DON who understands how to drive quality care, maintain compliance, and build strong nursing teams.

If you’ve successfully led a SNF before and know how to keep survey readiness tight while supporting staff, this role is built for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all nursing operations within the facility
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)
• Maintain survey readiness and manage audits/inspections
• Collaborate with administration on clinical and operational goals
• Monitor quality metrics, infection control, and patient outcomes
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and clinical workflows

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of New Jersey
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility (REQUIRED)
• Strong knowledge of SNF regulations, survey process, and compliance standards
• Proven leadership experience managing clinical teams
• Ability to drive accountability while maintaining a positive team culture
