Line Cook
Local Lincoln winery, Wise Villa Winery, is looking for an experienced Line Cook to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a face-pace, high end restaurant. This is a full-time position and will require nights and weekend availability. The typical hours the kitchen staff works is anywhere between 9am and 9pm. Available 5-7 days per week with Wednesday to Sunday preferred.
Essential Functions:
- Assist with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
- Preparing food including cleaning and cutting ingredients, as well as cooking main dishes, desserts, and appetizers.
- Plating food to the Head Chef's guidance and standards.
- Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and in a timely manner.
- Cleaning the kitchen and equipment at the end of each shift.
- Must be able to cover all stations (salad, saute, grill, and prep).
Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a fast pace high-end restaurant
- Butchery experience a plus
- Pastry experience a plus
