Sushi by Bou is hiring a full time Sushi Chef for New York



Compensation:

  • $1200- $1600 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory levels for a wide range of raw fish and other ingredients
  • Prepare all types of sushi including nigiri, sashimi, & handrolls
  • Attention to detail in the food preparation process, mastering quality control
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years Japanese cuisine experience
  • Ability to listen to and facilitate special requests from our clients
  • Exceptional and proven sushi workspace management ability
  • Strength in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to create a positive, fun, and exciting environment by interacting with our clients
  • Up to date with culinary trends and sushi preparation processes'
