Position: Audiology Extern

Location: Windsor and LaSalle, Ontario

Compensation: $30.00 per hour

Employment Type: Full-time, Temporary (Externship)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Audiology Extern to join our team. This is a paid externship opportunity offering hands-on experience in a dynamic and professional clinical setting. The extern will work closely with our licensed audiologists to provide diagnostic and rehabilitative services to patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct hearing evaluations under supervision
• Assist in the selection, fitting, and verification of hearing aids
• Support patient counselling and education
• Participate in follow-up and hearing aid adjustment appointments
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Collaborate with the audiology team to ensure high standards of care

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) program
• Eligible for a fourth-year externship placement
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Professional, dependable, and eager to learn
• Prior clinical experience is an asset but not required
• Able to legally work in Canada
