DOING RIGHT BY PEOPLE – IT’S WHAT WE DOThe Distribution Associate plays a key role in ensuring the efficient handling and delivery of documents, supplies, and materials within the Payworks office. You will be responsible for reconciling print output with logged production runs to verify the accuracy and completeness of all print jobs each day. With a strong focus on precision and timeliness, this role upholds a high standard of service for internal stakeholders while ensuring that packages are accurately prepared and delivered to Payworks’ customers on schedule. - Master logistics – You will be responsible for sorting, organizing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail and packages with precision. Working closely with your team, you will ensure that all documents and deliveries reach their intended recipients on schedule while coordinating daily shipments with various providers. You will also play a key role in getting employees across Canada paid correctly and on time by efficiently and effectively processing payroll packages, including sealing documents, verifying shipments and ensuring accuracy before delivery.
- Stay organized – Your keen attention to detail will shine through in your meticulous record keeping. You will manage and maintain an organized inventory of essential distribution supplies, coordinating orders with suppliers as needed so stock levels are always met. You will also keep detailed records of deliveries, printed output records, system logs and customer service inquiries, escalating corrections when necessary.
- Streamline operations – You will collaborate with couriers and vendors to schedule timely pickups and deliveries, maintaining a smooth and efficient distribution process. In addition to operating self-sealing machines, you will keep distribution equipment in top shape and coordinate with vendors for maintenance and repairs when needed.
- Support your team – You will be the go-to person for internal teams, keeping them informed by responding to inquiries about mail and package statuses and resolving distribution challenges as they arise. Handling sensitive and confidential materials requires strict adherence to safety and security protocols, and you will upholding these standards. Always looking for ways to improve, you will also proactively identify and implement process enhancements to drive efficiency.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- Strong technical skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
- Flexibility to adapt to tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and high workloads while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform tasks in sitting or standing positions for extended periods of time.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Superior analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to effectively leverage available tools and support systems.
The Distribution Associate supports the Winnipeg head office and works on site five (5) days a week.
